a Camp Loma | Reviews - Camp Loma

Camp Loma has been home to our community annual camping trip each summer for over 15 years. Each year we are called back to the beautiful redwood trees, the gorgeous babbling creek that runs alongside our tents, and the profound tranquility that the mountains offer. The Olympic sized swimming pool, lovely bathrooms and huge industrial kitchen allows us to turn camping into “glamping” - it’s truly a one of a kind experience. We love to play games in the open field, share skit night at the outdoor amphitheater and roast marshmallows around the fire. We can’t say enough about how wonderful this camp venue is, and how much we love the volunteers. We hope to return for many years to come.

We absolutely love hosting our group event at Camp Loma every summer. It's a magical place that provides an ideal setting for our gathering -- peaceful, beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. We especially love the plentiful campsites, huge lawn, spacious dining area, well-functioning facilities, and giant redwoods that make it the perfect spot for our family-friendly community campout. Working with Camp Loma's Volunteers is always easy and pleasant, and we look forward to seeing them again each year. We are really grateful to return to this place again each year.

We have hosted several events at Camp Loma and we have always been very happy with our relationship to the camp. The setting is delightful and the Reservations Coordinator is easy to communicate with. And Camp Loma’s mission as a nonprofit is very aligned with our own.

We have used the Camp Loma facility twice now for our church's annual camping weekend. It is a beautiful place to gather and spend a weekend. Having a pool, full kitchen and giant barbecue are all pluses for our group! We use the dining hall for food and games and gather around the wonderful campfire circle to chat, enjoy marshmallows and have a worship gathering. Working with the Camp's volunteers is easy and any time something needed to fixed, they took care of it.
